Brian Washburn

Brian Washburn is a true car guy! From the obscure yellow submarine to what is now the popular vintage bikes Brian has had his hands in. Starting back in the early 2000's Washburn apprenticed with John Alba at Grumpy's Metal for nearly 3 years, finally moving closer to family and to start his own sheet metal shop. Driven back to California by the cold, wet and grey winters common back East, Washburn took on the role of lead technician here at Grumpy's Metal.

Like many of us he has a passion for Volkswagen's and it's not unusual to find him driving down the coast somewhere in his Westfalia for surfing and maybe some camping...
